Position Overview:

As an Energy Advisor at Denoco Energy Systems, you will play a critical role in helping our customers make informed decisions about their energy use. You will conduct detailed energy assessments, provide expert advice on energy efficiency, and recommend solutions that align with their HVAC requirements and sustainability goals. This role is perfect for someone passionate about sustainability, customer service, and technical problem-solving.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Energy Assessments: Conduct comprehensive energy audits for residential and commercial properties to evaluate energy consumption patterns and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Customer Consultations: Meet with clients to understand their energy needs, educate them on energy efficiency options, and explain the benefits of Denoco’s HVAC and renewable energy solutions.
  • Customized Recommendations: Develop and present tailored energy-saving plans that include HVAC upgrades, renewable energy installations (such as solar panels and wind generators), and other efficiency measures.
  • Incentive and Financing Guidance: Assist clients in understanding and applying for available government incentives, rebates, and financing options to make energy improvements more affordable.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to close deals by providing technical expertise and ensuring customers fully understand the benefits and savings potential of proposed solutions.
  • Ongoing Client Support: Provide follow-up consultations to ensure clients are satisfied with their energy solutions, address any concerns, and suggest further improvements as needed.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in energy efficiency, HVAC technology, and renewable energy solutions to offer the most current advice and recommendations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: A degree or diploma in energy management, environmental science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in energy consulting, HVAC sales, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of energy systems, HVAC technologies, and renewable energy solutions. Proficiency in using energy assessment tools and software.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable way.
  • Customer Service: A strong customer-focused attitude with a passion for helping clients achieve their energy efficiency goals.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze energy consumption data, calculate potential savings, and develop cost-effective energy plans.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with sales, technical, and installation teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Building Performance Institute (BPI) certification are a plus.
  • Driver’s License & Vehicle: A valid driver’s license is required, as the role involves traveling to client sites.
