Job Overview:

As an Electrician at Denoco Energy Systems, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems specifically related to HVAC equipment and net-zero energy installations. Your work will ensure that our customers’ electrical systems are safe, efficient, and up-to-date, supporting both traditional HVAC setups and advanced renewable energy solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Installation:
  • Install electrical systems for HVAC equipment, including wiring, controls, and power supply connections.
  • Set up and connect renewable energy systems such as solar panels and wind generators to existing electrical infrastructure.
  • Ensure that all electrical installations meet safety standards, local building codes, and company quality requirements.
• Maintenance and Repairs:
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues related to HVAC systems, renewable energy installations, and general electrical infrastructure.
  • Provide emergency repair services as needed to restore electrical functionality and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Customer Interaction:
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their electrical needs and provide guidance on energy-efficient solutions.
  • Explain the operation and maintenance of installed electrical systems, ensuring customers are informed and confident in their use.
  • Address customer questions and concerns with professionalism and clarity.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including OSHA standards and local electrical codes.
  • Perform all work in accordance with company safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed, including installation details, maintenance logs, and repair reports.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with HVAC installers, technicians, and other team members to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Assist in training and mentoring apprentices or junior electricians as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education and Certification:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Electrician’s license (e.g., Red Seal Certification, Journeyman Electrician, etc.).
  • Additional certifications related to HVAC or renewable energy systems are a plus.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair, preferably related to HVAC systems and renewable energy solutions.
  • Experience working with solar panels, wind generators, or other renewable energy technologies is highly desirable.
• Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
